meime: The Making of My Coaching Model

It was the first day of our second training schedule for ACC. My mentor was listing out the assignments to be submitted by the end of the session. One of them was: “Arrive at your own coaching model.”

Now, coaching certainly follows a framework—our guiding light as credentialed coaches. However, within that, every coach brings their individuality, strengths, and style to create something that feels truly their own. That’s what this assignment was about.

As the discussion continued, I found myself drifting a little into my usual space of scribbled drawings and quiet reflections (a habit that kicks in when I’m distracted, deeply thinking, or quietly disengaged).

Let me be honest here—and this is a strictly personal disclosure. A thought suddenly struck: “The Me in Me.” And just like that, a smile appeared 🙂 Now, for some of us familiar with a certain godman, this phrase evokes a bit of humour—one of those well-engrained moments that instantly lights you up.

At first, I dismissed it as a light-hearted distraction. But the thought lingered. It stayed with me, especially every time I returned to work on the coaching model.

A few days later, I finally sat down with the assignment. That same phrase popped up again. So, I gave it the attention it clearly demanded. I typed out “meime” on a blank slide—and that very moment, something clicked. 

The whole approach unfolded right in front of me. Yes, coaching is about partnering with someone to help them find their answers. But what shaped up for me were these five guiding flavours:

Mindful → Empathy → Inspire → Move → Empower (meime - my coaching model)

The Goal : “From awareness to action — this is where real transformation begins.”

The How? By helping you quiet the noise, find your rhythm, reconnect with your essence, and rise into the life you’re truly meant to live—guided by these five principles.

I couldn’t stop giggling—what I first dismissed as a silly thought had blossomed into something powerful, grounded, and deeply personal. I was brimming with joy 😊

The Visual Voice of Meime

I shared that one-slide idea with my confidant and one of the most creatively efficient minds I know—Gopakumar T Venugopal . What he created in response was pure magic. The logo might appear simple to some, but wait till you read the thought behind it…

The “meime” logo appears symmetrical, minimal, and modern, but it's deeper meaning lies in how it mirrors the journey inward.

Here is what resonated with me the most from the logo:

• The blue dot above the ‘i’ stands out: symbol of mindfulness, the essential quality in coaching

• the forward and reverse placement of 'me' indicating the mirroring—a core coaching technique that fosters trust and self-discovery

Bingo! That was it—when my model found its visual voice, it truly was a moment of bliss 😊
